Diretide!!

So the diretide festival has begun and many DotA 2 players are happy! But for some new player this mode is very strange. I've seen many new players "tried" to play this and they failed miserably.

So for you new players this is Diretide in a nutshell:

1st Phase: Candy Chaos
This is the first phase where you guys need to pick a hero which could do a raid, defend the candy pot and be good at the sugar rush phase. At this phase some people will say what will the diretide game will be like usually the say "War or Coop", but actually this was frequently asked because in the previous patches Pudge can have flesh heap until he has like 345 strength and that was really OP so that valve needed to "nerf" Pudge's flesh heap only at this mode.

So after you pick your hero you'll notice that the place where the ancient creep used to spawn now is changed to a Halloween candy pot, this is the place which the defender needs to defend (no s**t). This pots needs to be defended because they drop Greevil Taffy which is a point in this game mode. One thing needed to be noted roshling and Junge Creeps drop Greevil Taffy and you guys can make a strategy out of that.

2nd Phase: The Trickster Awaken
At this phase The bully Roshan will awaken and bully us for greevil taffy. He will target a hero from each side Dire or Radiant. Roshan have a gem so don't even  bother to run from with a Shadowblade or other skill that makes you go invis. This is still like the first phase you need to raid and get candy from the opponent's candy pot but the difference is Roshan will be bullying you for greevil taffies. A tip from me you need at least one greevil taffy in your inventory or at your friend inventory so that Roshan will move on and bully the opponent's for greevil taffy.

At the end of this phase the team which collects more Greevil taffy will get an Item.

3rd Phase: Sugar Rush
The 3rd phase is where we kill roshan numerous of time, this phase you will be handed many gold, with this gold you will be able to buy anything you want and the shop's are all accessible from anywhere you are. Usually people buy many Divine Rapiers the use this so that Roshan will be killed much more faster. A tip from me don't buy BoT because ot won't really help just buy like 3-4 DR, 1 random item and an eul scepter. Eul Scpeter is used so that you guys can dodge roshan one hit kill skills (I'll review Roshan Skill in another post). After you buy all of your needed item, both sides will work together and fight roshan, you guys can't hurt the opponent so don't even bother attacking the others. This phase will go on until the timer runs out and every time you kill Roshan the timer will go up a bit and you can continue murdering Roshan.
